As a freelancer, I provide services including but not limited to:
- WordPress website design, development, and maintenance.
- System administration, server management, and IT consulting.
- Custom web development, including plugin/theme development.
- Troubleshooting and technical support.
The scope of services will be agreed upon between the Freelancer and Client before any work begins.
2. Project Scope and Deliverables
- All services and deliverables will be outlined in a Project Agreement or Statement of Work (SOW), which will specify the tasks, timelines, milestones, and costs.
- Changes to the scope of work after the agreement has been signed may incur additional fees and adjustments to the timeline.
3. Fees and Payment Terms
- All rates will be communicated in advance, and clients will receive an invoice based on hourly rates, fixed project fees, or retainer fees as agreed.
- Payment Terms: Payment is due as per the specified timeline in the project agreement (e.g., 50% upfront, 50% upon completion). Late payments may be subject to a late fee.
- Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via [list payment methods you accept, e.g., PayPal, Bank Transfer, etc.].
- If the project is canceled midway, the Client will be invoiced for work completed up to the point of termination.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Clients must provide accurate, complete, and timely information to ensure the smooth execution of the project.
- Clients are responsible for providing access to necessary accounts, software, or tools required to complete the project (e.g., website hosting, content management systems, etc.).
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they have proper licensing for third-party software, themes, or plugins that are used within the project.
5. Revisions
- The number of revisions included in the agreed price will be outlined in the project agreement.
- Additional revisions or changes outside the agreed-upon scope may incur additional fees and affect the project timeline.
- Revisions will be considered reasonable requests; major changes in direction may require a new agreement or separate charge.
6. Confidentiality
- As a freelancer, I respect your privacy and confidentiality. I will not disclose any sensitive or proprietary information shared by the client during the course of the project to third parties without prior written consent, unless required by law.
- Any proprietary code, designs, or intellectual property created by me during the project will remain confidential unless otherwise specified in the agreement.
7. Intellectual Property
- Upon full payment for the services provided, the Client will own the rights to the website, designs, and content delivered.
- I retain the right to include the completed work in my portfolio or promotional materials unless explicitly stated otherwise in the project agreement.
- Custom code, plugins, or themes created for the Client may be subject to a separate agreement regarding intellectual property rights.
8. Liability and Disclaimers
- I provide services on an “as-is” basis, and while I strive to deliver high-quality work, I do not guarantee that the services will be free from errors or issues.
- I am not liable for any loss of data, downtime, or damages resulting from the use or misuse of the website or systems after i complete and deliver it to you. (you need to show any error within 10 days of my delivery.
- My liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the services rendered.
9. Termination
- Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. If the Client terminates the project before completion, they will be invoiced for work completed up until the termination date.
- In case of termination, the Client agrees to pay any outstanding fees for services rendered up to that point.
10. Dispute Resolution
- In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue amicably.
- If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute may be resolved through legal process as specified in the project agreement.
11. Force Majeure
- I am not responsible for delays or failure to meet deadlines caused by factors outside of my control, including but not limited to technical issues, internet outages, server downtime, or natural disasters.
12. Changes to Terms
- These Terms of Service may be updated periodically. Any changes will be posted on my website, and clients will be notified of significant updates before starting new projects or services.
13. Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Your Country/State, and any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Your Location.
